Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Customer Quality Engineer located in Suzhou.

Reporting to the CQE Leader , the CQE role involves…

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Work as part of the Quality team supporting the development of the quality culture at the plant to assure customers of site's commitment to quality.
  • Act as first contact point for customer complaints.
  • Lead customer complaint handling and as the problem owner to organize team to fix the problem in 8D way, push internal process improvement.
  • Deliberation with the customer, in the name of site, to find the best (temporary) solution, both for the customer as well as site.
  • Customer PPM and quality issues monthly review, pass the voice of customer to internal process and continue push internal quality improvement with engineering, in-process quality and production
  • Controlling the process of internal complaint completion and informing the customer about the status of their complaint regularly.
  • Closing a complaint in consultation with the customer
  • Periodically reporting quality analyses to the internal organisation and giving advice concerning improvement initiatives.
  • Accompany audits done by customers within site.
  • Other tasks from supervisor.

Here is some of what you'll need:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Customer Engineer / Quality role
  • Statistical and process orientation
  • Working knowledge of English
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficiency in problem solving and quality techniques including:
  • PFMEA - 8D Problem Solving
  • PPAP - Quality Auditing
  • SPC – MSA
  • Customer focused, proactive problem solver
  • Excellent organisational skills; the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication (internal/external customers and suppliers)
  • Team player
