Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Director, Engineering located in Georgetown, TX.  

Reporting to the VP Operations, the Director, Engineering will provide strategic and technical leadership across multiple manufacturing engineering organizations, including structural test, process engineering, automation, manufacturing engineering, and new product introduction. This role will drive the architecture, R&D, industrialization, and deployment of next-generation thermal management infrastructure and advanced test solutions supporting the manufacturing of hyperscale cloud environments and high-density AI compute platforms. The position will also lead engineering strategy, organizational capability, operational excellence, product quality, and scalable manufacturing execution.

 

What a typical day looks like:

• Lead and develop multiple manufacturing engineering organizations, including structural test, process engineering, automation, manufacturing engineering, and NPI.
• Define and execute the engineering strategy, technical roadmap, organizational structure, and manufacturing capabilities required to support business growth.
• Provide technical direction for system architecture, R&D, product industrialization, and the deployment of next-generation engineering solutions.
• Lead the development and manufacturing deployment of advanced thermal management infrastructure, including liquid-cooling technologies for hyperscale cloud and high-density AI compute platforms.
• Oversee the development of structural test strategies, automated test systems, manufacturing processes, equipment specifications, and scalable production solutions.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Product Development, Supply Chain, Program Management, and customers to deliver programs according to cost, quality, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Manage engineering budgets and resources while driving continuous improvement, cost reduction, technical talent development, and executive-level customer engagement.

 

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience and training; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of engineering management experience, including leadership of managers and large, multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Extensive experience leading manufacturing engineering functions such as structural test, process engineering, automation, manufacturing engineering, and NPI.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, R&D, product development, design for manufacturability, industrialization, and manufacturing scale-up.
• Experience developing or deploying next-generation thermal management infrastructure, including liquid cooling for high-density computing applications.
• Experience supporting the manufacturing of hyperscale cloud infrastructure, data center hardware, or high-density AI compute platforms.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical programs, engineering budgets, organizational resources, and customer relationships, with strong strategic thinking, executive communication, and continuous-improvement skills; Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred.
