Job Summary

Global Technical Program Manager - EMEA

To support our extraordinary teams who design and build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Global Technical Program Manager located in Europe (primarily Hungary, Poland, UK).

This role is responsible for leading one or more high-complexity launch programs to deliver to schedule, quality, and cost commitments for key strategic customers. It serves as the global interface internally and to the customer, leading cross-functional and multi‑site program execution, to ensure program success.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Responsible for all program activities from project start until stable production
  • Lead cross-functional team including engineering, quality, supply chain, NPI, manufacturing, and service/support. Coordinate project activities across global sites, and resolve issues as necessary according to the program schedule
  • Lead customer interactions to define the product & project requirements and scope, to communicate project status and issues on a regular basis, and resolve issues as needed
  • Be on-site during NPI builds to understand design, process, test & material challenges, with appropriate team members
  • Travel up to 25-50% to the European manufacturing sites
  • Lead the project in accordance with Flex development (FPLC) processes. Lead management gate reviews. Ensure accurate risk analysis & highlight with proper data or information
  • Establish the project organization and secure resources for the program by working with appropriate functional managers and/or external sources. Set up clear expectations with all resource owners
  • Support RFQ response preparation and creation of SOW, in collaboration with the GAM and the customer
  • Track & manage project expenses across all functional areas
  • Work hand in hand with factory teams for flawless program transitions from DVT to PVT to ramp and then stable production stage
  • Closely track liability & support GAM to close any commercial claims

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Engineering, (or supply chain, related fields of study from an accredited school)
  • 5+ years of program management experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to lead programs with a strong sense of drive and accountability. A motivated self-starter with an attention to detail and a proven ability to manage programs in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, balancing both strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, including technical concepts, budgets, risks, and schedule issues
  • Ability to influence at all levels without direct authority, establish credibility, and build strong partnerships across Flex and customer organizations to deliver the best outcomes for complex programs
  • Advanced level of English is required
  • Expertise in various manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Ability to support sales and account management by giving presentations and participating in meetings with customers as the program management representative
  • A thorough understanding of the product development, including manufacturing
  • Experience managing programs from early concept through manufacturing ramp
  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences and strong presentation skills
  • The role is remote but travel up to 25-50% to the European manufacturing sites required
