To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Jr Production Planning Administrator located in USA, MI, Coopersville.

Reporting to the Director of Operations the Jr Production Planning Administrator is responsible for performing the administrative tasks relating to production planning.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Coordinate and follow up on the production plans
  • Provide support to the team on the production planning status
  • Follow up and monitor the delivery schedule for on time delivery.
  • Initializes the ERP system for new release product by setting manufacturing lead time, make or buy, order size and other appropriate parameters required by the ERP.
  • Transacts forecast demand to planned work orders to position material demand.
  • Integrate the functions of scheduling, engineered workflow and resource availability to plan the production build schedule.
  • Accessing the customer platforms.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Required 1 year of prior relevant working experience in with related experience in a manufacturing environment or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and practices
  • Conversant in the operations of ISO procedures and systems
  • Previous experience working with ERP system, prefer Baan
  • Ability to extract and analyze data
  • Working knowledge of MS office and strong excel knowledge
  • Strong communication, multitasking
