Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Jr Test Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Test Engineer Manager the Jr Test Engineer is responsible for supporting the execution of functional and system integration testing activities for electronic and power systems within a manufacturing and NPI environment.
This role has a strong hands‑on focus, supporting test execution, troubleshooting, and system‑level validation under the guidance of more senior engineers.
What a typical day looks like:
Supports the execution of functional testing and system integration testing for electronic and power systems in a production environment.
Assists in the setup, operation, verification, and basic calibration of test instruments, equipment, and control devices used to validate product functionality and collect test data.
Executes test procedures and follows established test processes to ensure accurate and consistent results.
Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and technical teams to identify, document, and support resolution of system‑level issues, such as product malfunctions, test failures, or data inconsistencies.
Collects, reviews, and helps analyze test data; supports the preparation of test reports and documentation for engineering and operations teams.
Uses existing software and hardware test tools to support automated or semi‑automated testing.
Applies basic programming or scripting skills (Python, PHP, or similar) to support test execution, data handling, or minor automation tasks.
Provides floor support to test technicians and operators, assisting with test execution, issue escalation, and adherence to test procedures.
Supports yield improvement activities by assisting with data collection, analysis, and implementation of corrective actions under supervision.
Assists with equipment verification, commissioning, and integration in production lines.
Creates and maintains test records and process documentation according to Flex and customer requirements.
Supports system‑level testing activities for projects such as AI rack integration, power electronics, and three‑phase systems.
Provides support during New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
Communicates test status, issues, and results clearly with internal teams and, when required, customer representatives.
Supports flexible work schedules based on production and project needs.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
BA/BS in Electronics, Mechatronics or similar.
Initial experience supporting functional testing or system integration in a manufacturing, lab, or technical environment.
Basic knowledge of power electronics and three‑phase electrical systems.
Familiarity with Python, PHP, or similar programming/scripting languages.
Interest in hands‑on testing, system troubleshooting, and learning from experienced engineers.
Strong analytical thinking and willingness to develop problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and follow established processes.
