The Manufacturing Process Engineer 1 is based onsite in Dallas, TX. Responsible for improving manufacturing efficiency, scalability, and safety by optimizing processes, equipment, and workflows. Leads initiatives to enhance production capabilities and reduce costs.
What a typical day looks like:
- Ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes and layouts.
- Analyze workflows and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production performance.
- Estimate costs, capacity, and resource needs.
- Implement sustainable standard work methods.
- Evaluate and upgrade equipment and tooling.
- Drive cost-saving and safety initiatives.
- Guide cost improvement/reduction programs.
- Prepare documentation and training for new processes.
- Stay current with manufacturing technologies.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- At least 2 years of experience in a related capacity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess problems or issues with manufacturing equipment.
- Experience reviewing metrics for continuous improvement
- Extensive knowledge of production principles and techniques including lean manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree typically required; Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
