We are seeking an NPI, Process Engineer who will be based in Hollis NH at FARM reporting into our Director of Design Process Development and will be in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- You will design the process that builds the product at a Pilot Scale
- You will work on a team that builds manual to semi automated assembly equipment
- Working with internal and external teams to assess Process development technology
- Review mechanical and electrical designs for Manufacturability
- Define process and assembly flow.
- Fixture design and implementation.
- Build out organization and execution related to manufacturing readiness.
- Assemble technology and process characterization (DoE, Process validation, IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Give Project status updates with manufacturing site and customer.
The experience we are looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
- Experience developing a process for taking a design across Concept through process validation
- Develop assembly processes for a new or existing designs.
- Work on DFx (DFM,DFC, DFA)
- Experience implementing a production line
- Experience working with PFMEA
- Experience transferring products from R&D to Manufacturing.
Some of our preferred experiences:
- Experience working on NPI for Medical devices or Pharmaceutical
- Experience with Electro-mechanical Systems
