To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineer located in Monroe, OH.
Reporting to the Sr Business Unit Manager, the Process Engineer will in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Process Design and Improvement: Define, implement, and evaluate manufacturing processes for manufacturability, including establishing robust process parameters and implementing cycle time and process improvements.
- Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to identify root causes of manufacturing failures and troubleshoot process-related issues effectively.
- Equipment Management and Implementation: Justify, purchase, and oversee the implementation of capital equipment for production, including managing new process equipment production and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain process documentation, review processing methods, and provide training to production personnel during technology transfers.
- Continuous Development and Cost Improvement: Participate in the continuous development of manufacturing techniques to enhance in-house capabilities, improve throughput, and guide cost reduction programs.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in the engineering field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in engineering in a similar position.
- Proven ability to design and optimize process layouts for manufacturing environments to enhance workflow and efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience in performing time studies to analyze and improve production processes, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Familiarity with NPI processes, including collaborating with cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products and technologies within the manufacturing setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Solidworks) and the Microsoft office suit.
