To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager the role will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials for our product lines. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of our BOMs throughout the product lifecycle. This position also supports the Engineering team and projects, including NPI & NTI. To ensure customer satisfaction and to deliver maximum advantage to the business..

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM)for our product lines using Agile PLM and Baan ERP system, incorporating engineering specifications, design changes, and component requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure BOMs accurately reflect product designs.
• Work closely with Procurement to manage component inventory levels within Baan ERP and ensure availability of materials for production and prototyping.
• Conduct regular audits of BOMs within Agile PLM and Baan ERP to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Support manufacturing operations suggesting modifications to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior product quality.
• Participate in cost reduction activities in areas such as material, inventory and waste reduction.
• Management of work meetings.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing is Preferred
• Experience with Agile Preferred
• Proficiency in Agile PLM or similar PLM systems and MRP system (BAAN, SAP)
• Experience in the use of Floor shop systems
• Experience in NPI
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Knowledge in personnel management Experience in ECO's implementation
• Knowledge in creating and reading bills of materials
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excels at documenting their processes and helps make improvements to their job through system and process improvements
• Leadership - Experience in team management
