Job summary:

To support our Supplier Quality and Manufacturing teams as we continue expanding our business and integrating new products, we are looking to add a Intern located in Aguascalientes.

This role will provide operational and technical support during the integration of new parts and suppliers, particularly as new business opportunities require localization and qualification of components. The position will support supplier follow‑up activities, manufacturing readiness, and quality validation to ensure parts meet specification, quality, and customer requirements.

The role reports functionally to the Supplier Quality Engineering team and works closely with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Engineering, and external suppliers.

What a typical day looks like:

Duties performed in this role may vary depending on the business unit or product being manufactured, but may include (not limited to) the following:

  • Provides support for the integration and qualification of new parts and components associated with new business introductions.
  • Supports the evaluation and onboarding of new suppliers, including localized suppliers.
  • Follows up on supplier manufacturing plans, timelines, and commitments.
  • Reviews and supports dimensional reports, material certifications, and inspection results from suppliers.
  • Assists in coordinating and reviewing PPAP / PPA documentation, when required.
  • Supports Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensures that components meet internal requirements, drawings, specifications, and customer expectations.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

Recently graduated engineer (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, or related engineering field).

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality principles.

Knowledge of quality tools and concepts (inspection, dimensional analysis, material verification).

Familiarity or academic exposure to PPAP / APQP is a plus.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.

Willingness to learn and grow within Supplier Quality and Manufacturing environments.

Intermediate English (reading and basic communication).

Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
