To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Student located in Aguascalientes.
Reporting directly to the Quality Engineer, this role will provide support in product quality activities, including inspection processes, documentation control, nonconformance handling, and continuous improvement initiatives. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 13485 / FDA) while contributing to maintaining product quality and compliance.
What a typical day looks like:
- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Assist in reviewing and updating inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation.
- Help in the documentation and follow-up of Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMRs).
- Support investigation activities, including data collection for root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys).
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA/SCAR/CAR).
- Verify completeness and accuracy of Device History Records (DHRs).
- Support tracking of quality metrics (scrap, yield, defects).
- Participate in process audits, layered process audits (LPAs), or internal audits.
- Assist in verification of effectiveness (VoE) activities by collecting and analyzing data.
- Support document control activities, ensuring latest revisions are being used on the floor.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, supply chain) to support quality-related topics.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Student of Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of quality concepts (QMS, inspection, defect identification, documentation).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Intermediate English proficiency (reading and writing preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical thinking and willingness to learn.
