To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Quality Director the Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality in place and in use as well as customer requirements. Promote and coordinate continuous improvement activities, 8Ds, FMEA / QCP, iSO9000, statistical process control, Six Sigma.

What a typical day looks like:

• Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.

• Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.

• Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.

• Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.

• Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.

• Will be in charge of a sustaining process.

• Meetings with CFT.

• Communication channel with client. (Complaints, solutions). Client point of contact.

• Customer Quality report weekly.

• Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in a similar position.

• Must fluently English.

• Advanced experience in manufacturing electronics or automotive.

• Knowledge in statistical analysis & Statistical processes control.

• Knowledge SMT & Backend (PCBA´s processes)

• Box / Integration process.

• Knowledge PPAP´s.

• Knowledge NPI.

• Problem solving methodology (8D, 5Why, Process mapping).

• QCP / FMEA knowledge.

• Advanced Excel.

• Client communication experience.

• Management people.
