Quote Engineer
Reporting directly to the Quote & Cost Engineering Group Leader, this role will play a key part in supporting pricing, costing, and financial analysis activities across the business. You will be responsible for developing pricing proposals, managing complex cost calculations, and providing financial insights that support business decisions.
What a typical day looks like:
- Prepare pricing proposals and cost calculations using established internal pricing models and methodologies.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses, including savings calculations, cost evaluations, profitability assessments, and customer claim reviews.
- Manage the end-to-end pricing process, coordinating stakeholders, collecting and validating inputs, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Create and maintain financial models to support pricing decisions, cost optimization initiatives, and business case evaluations.
- Prepare reports and analyses for Finance and Management to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Support change management activities by assessing and quantifying the financial impact of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and other customer-driven changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and deliver accurate financial insights.
- Continuously improve pricing and reporting processes while ensuring data accuracy and consistency across analyses.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong financial mindset and analytical approach
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Familiarity with ERP or other enterprise management systems is an advantage
- Agile, proactive, and adaptable personality
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills
