Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Senior Engineer - Sheetmetal based in Chennai  based in Location

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and Perform the DFX for Sheetmetal Products  

• Regularly review and update the Sheet metal DFX rulebooks
• Define GD&T best practices aligned with Manufacturing capabilities
• Design welding, assembly, checking, and machining fixtures for sheet metal parts
• Develop detailed 3D fixture assemblies and manufacturing drawings
• Ensure fixture designs align with part GD&T and design datums
• Develop manufacturing processes for sheet metal components such as stamping, bending, forming, deep drawing, laser cutting, and welding
• Prepare process flow diagrams, operation sheets, control plans, and PFMEA
• Define manufacturing feasibility during product design and development stages
• Optimize processes to reduce scrap, cycle time, and manufacturing cost

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical /Production) or relevant 4-6 years of experience.  / Diploma in Tool and Die Making Expertise Sheetmetal server racks manufacturing and its assembly process
• Hands-on experience in Sheetmetal DFX check and its recommendations
• Sound knowledge in sheetmetal Manufacturing standards and Tooling.
• Design of fixture and Gauge using SolidWorks  
• Knowledge in GD&T and Tolerance stack up
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment
• Work with other engineering team members to improve existing process.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
• Good analytical skills.
• Reporting & Decision-making skills.
