To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering the Senior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for developing and sustaining process engineering and maintenance capabilities focused on cost, quality, productivity, and delivery improvements within a manufacturing environment. This role leads maintenance operations for backend manufacturing equipment, ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.

The position provides technical leadership to a team of maintenance technicians and engineers while supporting preventive maintenance programs, equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, process optimization, and manufacturing excellence initiatives.

What a typical day looks like:

• Lead maintenance activities for backend manufacturing equipment, including: Wave Solder Machines, Router Equipment, Press-Fit Systems
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability metrics to drive operational improvements.
• Support equipment installation, relocation, commissioning, qualification, and production release activities.
• Ensure equipment maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Provide technical coaching, mentoring, and training to maintenance personnel.
• Establish maintenance priorities to ensure production continuity and equipment availability.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Sr experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate English (spoken and written).
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis expertise.
• Extensive experience supporting backend assembly equipment.
• Experience leading maintenance teams.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance systems.
• Strong knowledge of Wave Solder Equipment, Router Machines, Press-Fit Equipment.
• Availability shift.
