To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior PCBA Process Engineer located in Milpitas CA.

Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering, the Senior PCBA Process Engineer be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements to support a PCBA manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability (dfx study) 
  • Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production 
  • Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters 
  • Trouble shoot process related issues 
  • Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements 
  • Evaluate and select various engineered materials 
  • Implement statistical process reviews on new and existing products 
  • Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements. 
  • Improve manufacturing techniques and through put. 
  • Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities 
  • Review processing methods 
  • Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer 
  • Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer 
  • Manage cost improvement/reduction programs 

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Process, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Processing
  • 6 years of experience in Engineering in the high Technology Electronics industry Manufacturing
  • 5 years of Manufacturing Production and Operations
  • 4 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
  • Experience Manufacturing Technology in a high volume highly automated setting.
  • Advanced people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint spreadsheet (PC), presentation and database software.
