Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer will be based in Guadalajara North site this position, you will maintain quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
- change documentation when needed to update job instructions and documentation when needed
- Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
- Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.
- Consolidates and reports quality results.
- Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
- Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
- Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective actions
- Study and recommend techniques to improve existing products and processes.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing batch records.
- Demonstrate advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills..
- Ability to diagnose problems and recommend solutions in assigned area.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing protocols, statistical tools and methodology, and continuous improvement techniques preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
