Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a System Senior Staff Engineer located in Changi, Singapore.

The System Engineer, working with other design team members, will be responsible for system architecture definition and feasibility assessment in order to meet customer's requirements, from the development of conceptual prototypes and architecture, through development into full-scale production.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Project technical leadership, responsible for managing System Integration involving cross-functional teams

  • Main technical interface for customer and suppliers of critical parts

  • Helps supervisors to ensure that department PDPs are correctly implemented

  • Organizes periodic technical team meetings, working for the resolution of System problems

  • Ensures that system documentation is prepared according to the project schedule, being owner of the related deliverables (system requirements and system design)

  • Highlights schedule issues, allocation and resources problems to DPM

  • Review System RA, dFMEA, pFMEA and takes care of verifying appropriate link and implementation

  • Review test strategy especially covering System Integration (Fault Injection) and ensure the correct split between SW/EE/ME/QE tests

  • Supports DPM in updating the action tracker list file for items related to inter-department dependencies

  • Support the updating of the defect tracking system (with the support of the DPM) to evaluate and assign bug resolution

  • Participates in subsystem documentation review (up to requirement and architecture) as independent reviewer

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in wearable product development, supported by broad cross-functional expertise across Electrical, Software, and Mechanical Engineering domains. Candidates with a strong Electrical Engineering background are highly preferred.

  • Have Knowledge of Embedded microcontroller architectures, HW/FW partitioning analysis techniques and Requirement definition and testing

  • Hands-on experience in electrical system design and integration for wearable devices is highly preferred, particularly in low-power system optimization, battery integration and battery management, antenna design and integration, health and biosensor
