To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Business Systems Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, documentation, and project coordination for our Factory Applications portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work with a highly motivated global team on strategic IT initiatives.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Act as the primary liaison for Factory Applications products, supporting IT-related processes and tasks.
  • Coordinate product and project lifecycle activities in alignment with IT standards and business requirements.
  • Apply project management best practices across all deliverables, ensuring alignment with IT PMO standards.
  • Lead the collection and definition of business and technical requirements for factory-related IT solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
  • Collaborate with Solution Managers, Delivery Management, Global Implementations, and Enterprise Architecture during initial project assessments.
  • Liaise with departments such as Core Solutions, Global Implementations, Corporate Quality, and Operations to validate and communicate requirements effectively.
  • Partner with development teams to enhance services through robust testing and release procedures.
  • Oversee cross-functional activities to ensure all commitments related to IT software delivery are fulfilled.
  • Ensure thorough testing and acceptance of solutions with internal teams and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor projects and tasks in progress related to Factory Applications software.
  • Track and drive key action items and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Create and manage relevant materials, including playbooks and verification/validation documents.
  • Provide IT expertise and support to other Factory Applications product teams.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  •  Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Experience in software engineering, software development, or IT project management.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team environment.
  • Familiarity with MES/Production Systems: Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems or production environments, ideally through collaboration with product owners or technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Development Methodologies: Basic knowledge of standard software development practices such as Agile or Scrum, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Technical Awareness: Experience working with SQL and .NET-based applications is a plus, or a strong interest in developing these skills.
  • Strong experience in a similar position investigating and helping resolve technical issues with guidance from technical teams.
  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with manufacturing environments and related IT systems.
  • DevOps Expertise: Practical experience working with DevOps processes and tools.
  • Change Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build trust and introduce best practices across global, multicultural teams within enterprise settings.
  • Database Proficiency: Hands-on experience with open-source databases such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, and others.
  • Process & Documentation Skills: Skilled at quick understanding, mapping, and documenting business processes and user-facing documentation.
