To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Welding Quality Engineer (CWI) located in Guadalajara, North Site.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Welding Quality Enginer (CWI)'s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Develops all activities related to the Welding process
• Providing expertise in welding Quality assurance to ensure interpretation &  compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Process and Product Qualification.
• Non Destructive Test evaluation 
• Review Engineering drawings & Welding Symbols to determine welding requirements
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address welding quality issues and provide solutions based in root cause analysis
• Conduct inspection and testing of welding materials and structures to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards such as AWS. ASME
• Maintain welding documentation and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct Training session for welders and inspectors  

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Advanced English
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) from American Welding society (AWS) or equivalent
• Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy and engineering principles
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Staff Administration
• Strong attention to details and commitment to quality
