Description

Summary: Fusion Academy is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Senior Director of National Enrollment to spearhead our national enrollment strategy and drive ambitious student enrollment goals across our Fusion Academy and Fusion Global Academy. This pivotal leadership role will provide strategic direction to Regional Directors of Enrollment (RDEs), Directors of Admissions (DAs), Directors of Outreach (DOs), and Heads of School (HOSs). Reporting to the SVP of Sales, the Senior Director of Enrollment will collaborate closely with Regional Vice Presidents, District Vice Presidents, and regional teams to align enrollment strategies with overarching business objectives. This role holds ultimate accountability for achieving the company's annual enrollment targets, requiring a strategic leader with a passion for building high-performing teams, and a proven ability to drive significant enrollment growth.

Salary: $135-150k annually with bonus eligibility.

Travel expectations: 50-75% each month. 

What You'll Do Every Day:

  • Shape and Execute a Winning National Enrollment Strategy: Provide strategic, data-driven guidance to ensure consistent and high-performing enrollment efforts across all business units, leading to measurable gains in efficiency, effectiveness, and overall enrollment yield.
  • Conduct competitive and market research. Anticipate and respond to industry trends and competitive pressures. Translate market insights into actionable enrollment strategies. Use learnings to identify and evaluate new market opportunities.
  • Leverage enrollment KPIs (including student sessions, revenue, registers, professional referrals, IVIR conversion rates, and inquiry to AM %) to extract actionable intelligence that informs strategic decision-making and maximizes enrollment outcomes.
  • Provide Strategic Leadership: In close partnership with the SVP of Sales, articulate a clear and inspiring strategic vision for the national enrollment team, including regional sales leaders and key stakeholders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and consistent overachievement.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to drive enrollment. Partner with Marketing to develop integrated lead generation and nurturing programs. Develop and implement creative enrollment campaigns and initiatives. Collaborate with Education to align enrollment strategies with student outcomes and program development. Work closely with regional operations to ensure efficient enrollment processes and resource allocation.
  • Lead Regional Teams to Exceed Goals: Provide strategic oversight and inspirational leadership to regional cross-functional teams to aggressively drive enrollment growth, clearly communicating enrollment strategies for sales teams to ensure unwavering consistency and focus across all districts. Empower RDEs to implement innovative and highly effective sales strategies and activities at the campus level. Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

Key Outcomes You Will Achieve:

  • Achieve and surpass ambitious company-wide annual student session, revenue, and registration targets.
  • Develop and successfully implement a high-impact national enrollment strategy for both business units.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship that elevates the performance of regional enrollment teams.
  • Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless alignment of enrollment efforts with overall organizational goals.
  • Identify, pilot, and implement innovative enrollment programs and best practices that yield significant results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive senior leadership experience (typically 10+ years) in enrollment management, admissions, or sales, with a significant track record of success in the education sector.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing highly successful national enrollment strategies that consistently achieve and exceed ambitious growth targets in competitive markets.
  • Deep analytical acumen and a comprehensive understanding of enrollment KPIs, data analysis methodologies, and reporting systems (advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com is highly desirable).
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and empower large, geographically dispersed teams to achieve peak performance.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to align enrollment strategies with overall organizational objectives and manage budgets effectively.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build influential relationships and effectively articulate a strategic vision to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and build consensus across cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • A strategic and proactive mindset with a proven ability to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and drive innovation.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take calculated risks.
