Description
PSYCHIATRY CONSULT/LIAISON PHYSICIAN, INPATIENT
Works collaboratively with members of the psychiatric team, as well as liaisons with consulting teams about patient care. Interviews patients to obtain information such as history of present illness, prior psychiatric history, family/social history, prior medication trials and treatment. Performs and/or interprets diagnostic tests as needed. Diagnose patients and design a plan of treatment. Prepares, maintains, and reviews records that include patients' histories, examination findings, treatment plans, or outcomes. Liaison with different teams throughout the hospital on treatment plan, including administrating or changing of medications. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
