Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking Gastroenterology Physician Assistant(s) to join the dynamic and growing team at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. Opportunity Information
The Gastroenterology Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care involving the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. The GI PA will work closely with our Gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive and exceptional care to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation.
- In collaboration with GI Physicians, consult with patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive and seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various GI disorders.

Qualifications:
- New Jersey Physician Assistant License
- Successful completion of a physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education Current registration as a Physician Assistant
