Description
The Enterprise Business Systems Analyst (EBSA) will work within the Enterprise Process Improvement team to support Harbor Freight Tools' long-term vision to be the best place to work and the best place to shop.
The EBSA provides day-to-day support for business systems, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities by assisting with system documentation, user support, testing, training, reporting, and implementation activities that help teams effectively use and adopt enterprise platforms and tools.
This role helps maintain system documentation, collect and organize business and system information, prepare training and support materials, assist with testing and rollout activities, support business users, and ensure business systems information remains accurate and up to date.
This role primarily supports Product Development, Project Management, Merchandising, Global Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Legal and Compliance, and Inventory through enterprise platforms such as Workfront and related business systems. The role may also support cross-functional business systems initiatives in Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Finance, HR, and other areas based on business priorities and team capacity.
This role partners with Enterprise Process Improvement to ensure business systems, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled solutions effectively support business processes, user needs, and operational objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data views to support operational visibility, portfolio tracking, and leadership decision-making.
- Monitor data quality, system usage, and reporting accuracy; identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities for escalation.
- Support portfolio and system health analysis across large user populations, including adoption, utilization, and performance insights.
- Assist with system configuration updates, template maintenance, and content lifecycle management under manager direction.
- Support testing, validation, implementation, release readiness, and documentation for system changes, enhancements, automations, and platform updates.
- Maintain and update SOPs, training materials, knowledge bases, system documentation, and reusable support resources.
- Support user training, onboarding, office hours, troubleshooting, and adoption activities for business systems and platform enhancements.
- Partner with Process & Operations to support reporting, analysis, and system enablement needs tied to process execution.
- Assist with documenting business requirements, user requests, workflows, and process information to support system enhancements and platform improvements.
- Provide frontline system support, including user questions, troubleshooting, issue triage, and escalation coordination.
- Track support requests, enhancement requests, issues, action items, and follow-up activities to help ensure timely resolution and communication.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through reporting improvements, automation support, or standardization.
- Support AI, automation, pilot, sandbox testing, and proof-of-concept activities through testing, documentation, training, validation, and user feedback.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and workflows by supporting analysis, documentation, communication, and rollout activities.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $73,600 – $110,400 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.

- Bachelors' Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Workfront administration, Business Systems, Digital Transformation, Process Automation, AI Enablement, Product Lifecycle Management administration, or related fields
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and follow-up skills with excellent attention to detail; ability to manage multiple assignments, support requests, priorities, meetings, and action items.
- Ability to gather information, document business and system requirements, workflows, user stories, process maps, use cases, and support documentation.
- Experience creating user guides, training materials, knowledge articles, SOPs, meeting materials, and other documentation that supports system adoption and effective system use.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain reports, system functionality, issues, and changes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise platforms and business tools, including Adobe Workfront, Fusion, PLM platforms, Databricks, Tableau, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience using project management and work management platforms (e.g., Workfront, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools) to support workflows, reporting, task management, testing, and execution activities.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, AI agents, prompt libraries, or similar tools) to support research, testing, documentation, reporting, automation, and productivity.
- Experience building, maintaining, and supporting reports, dashboards, analytics, and data views, including data validation, testing, and reporting activities that improve operational visibility and decision-making.
- Ability to support user questions, troubleshooting, office hours, training, issue triage, escalation coordination, and platform adoption activities.
- Ability to monitor system usage, data quality, reporting accuracy, platform adoption, and improvement opportunities while escalating issues as appropriate.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively across Process Improvement, Operations, Project Management, Business Systems, and IT teams in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
