Description
The Trade Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and providing administrative and operational support for trade compliance activities to ensure products are manufactured ethically and are imported in compliance with trade rules and regulations throughout the supply chain. The Coordinator supports Trade Compliance operations by managing cross-functional information requests and ensuring accurate, timely data handling. This role works closely with Global Sourcing, Merchandising, Product Compliance, and Quality Assurance to collect and validate required documentation, maintain data integrity, and track open items through resolution. Responsibilities also include organizing and maintaining compliance records and supporting adherence to all applicable import regulations and supply chain security requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Global Sourcing to obtain documentation from vendors and supply chain partners (i.e. Lacey Act questionnaires, CPSC documents, BOM information, etc.)
- Create and collect certifications to support US imports (FDA 2877, EPA pest device packets, etc.)
- Conduct initial trade compliance audit reviews (CoO, USHTS, PGA's, AD/CVD, Valuation, etc.)
- Support obtaining information for Country of Origin reviews and determinations
- Support obtaining information for strategic HTSUS reviews
- Monitor Customs Bulletins and CROSS Rulings
- Document processes for compliance
- Maintain records per Trade Compliance Manual
- Track internal compliance through documentation and audits
- Additional duties as assigned by manager
- Assist with Chain of Custody and Transactional Authenticity programs (document gathering, verification, and document storage)
- Aid in preparations for Audit Readiness Program (notifications, document gathering, documentation storage, etc.)
- Maintain regular review of documentation and reporting to support the valuation reporting process

Requirements
Education and Experience
- B.A./B.S. in business, global logistics, or other related studies (preferred)
- Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in relevant field (customs brokerage and importer preferred)
- Ability to participate as a team-member in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with internal/external business partners and with overseas teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to actively listen, understand diverse perspectives, and tailor responses effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with proactive approach, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage stress effectively
Corporate - Remote - General office environment requiring ability to: *Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time . *Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone and video conferencing. *Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports. *The ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
