This position is responsible for performing activities associated with the administration and maintenance of our Utilization Management programs including but not limited to assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of prior authorization and specialty pharmacy programs. Additionally, this position will be responsible for PBM oversight, formulary alignment, client relationships and support; and development of innovative clinical programs.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Registered Pharmacist in the United States.
* Experience using window based word processing, spreadsheet and relational database software.
* Drug information skills.
* Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of practice guidelines or practice parameters; pharmacoeconomics; quality improvement processes and techniques.
* Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles.
* Ability to remain at a work station and perform computer entry for long periods of time, as required.
* Skills to handle multiple priorities and manage communications professionally to achieve issue resolution with customers, employees, or management
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and additional advanced degree (MBA, M.S.).
* 3 years of experience within Pharmacy practice.
* Additional certifications and residency experience.
* Managed care and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience.
We offer a flexible work arrangement to include 3 days working in our Richardson, TX or Chicago, IL office(s) and 2 days working form home.
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $180,700.00
