This position is responsible for planning and managing projects of various sizes and complexity. Being accountable for end-to-end delivery of a project including managing the cost / budget, schedule & dependencies, resources, scope, quality, and risk. Managing and strategic planning delivery of information and analysis on client cost and utilization data for eligible accounts. Ensuring the work of the project is aligned with the stated business objectives; providing a blend of technical and business acumen to drive the design, development and implementation of strategic it projects; building a sufficient level of knowledge of IT Products and lob to enable targeted probing of delivery feasibility and conflicts with other projects. Setting and managing customer expectations; developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders to obtain project objectives while working in a matrix project environment. This includes providing benefit consulting services to large accounts and providing direction to staff of benefit consultants and analysts. Driving deliverables and activities with PDL and IT product managers or their program manager by removing barriers, and escalating risk/issues. A comprehensive understanding of systems development lifecycles and methodologies. Basic understanding of IT architecture, infrastructure and networking.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance OR 4 years' experience.
  • 7 years' experience interfacing with external clients, large employers, brokers, or consultants.
  • 7 years' experience requiring data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data.
  • 4 years leadership experience including 2 yrs in a management position.
  • Experience of Healthcare benefits, terminology, and concepts and insurance economies.
  • Experience of quantitative and qualitative standards and measures and statistical measures and concepts.
  • Negotiation, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • PC proficiency to include Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Professional designation such as Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (C.E.B.S.).
  • Data Analysis.
  • Consulting experience.

Compensation: $69,200.00 - $146,700.00
