This position is responsible for assembly of basic mechanical and/or electrical assemblies, electrical panels, wire lists, and harnesses.   Works under the direction of a supervisor or work lead with work delegated on a regular basis.

Essential Duties:

·         Perform light assembly tasks using both hand and power tools

·         Follow visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted

·         Accurately report shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting

·         Perform cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required

·         Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

·         Adhere to all quality and safety standards

·         Support other projects and performs duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

·         High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience of 1-3 years industry experience

·         Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized high-pressure equipment

·         Interacts professionally with teammates and colleagues

·         Possesses quality orientation and high attention to detail

·         Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.

·         Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms and sit or stand for several hours at a time

·         Ability to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
