Our Houston studio is currently seeking a Marketing intern to join our team this summer. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for students pursuing a degree in marketing to gain practical, hands-on experience. You'll work on real-world projects, learn from and collaborate with talented professionals, and develop skills in a dynamic studio environment.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Organize and coordinate activities involved in the preparation of marketing proposals, presentations, and submittals. Assist in gathering information about prospects and participate in proposal strategy in support of firm's principals and other marketing professionals.  Interact with marketing staff in other HOK offices. Assist in the development of and maintaining all marketing resource materials-brochures, data, slides, color copies, photographs, files, and client database. Assist in the completion of forms, client questionnaires, and qualifying statements as required. Assist in the coordination and assembly of materials for client presentations and interviews, in accordance with the Corporate Image Program and Desk Top Publishing Guidelines. Assist in the maintenance of back-up data on project and office personnel; ensure that resume file information is current and appropriate. Assist in group mail-outs; maintain mailing lists. Assist with the coordination of work with outside vendors (electronic transfer of data, reprographics, binding, etc.) and consultants. Assist in the preparation of status reports on marketing efforts. Assist with conference/seminar presentations. Take personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Currently enrolled in marketing degree program. Previous internship experience in marketing and sales with a professional services firm is preferred.   SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Good organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. Strong computer, graphics, proofreading, and editing skills.
