Our New York studio is currently seeking a Sr. Landscape Design Professional to join our team. The individual in this role coordinates and/or undertakes the planning development, production and delivery of projects, as a member of the project design team or on own projects. Assignments require independent action and decision making as well as the ability to supervise others.   RESPONSIBILITIES:    Develops, modifies, and reviews planning documents according to established standards. Works on a full range of assignments in the delivery of all project phases and construction administration. Develops, modifies and reviews master plan reports, construction documents and specifications. Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.  Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects. Displays ability to create design concepts and expresses graphically. Compiles data and performs elementary design computations. Performs benchmarking research on programming, comparable projects and images. Assures HOK document standards are met and archives documents appropriately.  May assist team in construction administration document management. Reads and understands Agreements to Work within budget, schedule, work plan and client constraints. May mentor and direct the work of intern staff. Actively promotes collaborative and innovative culture. Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or architecture plus 8-10 years' experience required.  Master's degree in landscape architecture or urban design may also be required. LEED credential required within 6 months of employment. OTHER: Travel may be required Overtime may be required The job duties and requirements that this document describes may be altered or supplemented any time at the sole discretion of HOK.   This is a hybrid position that requires employees to come into our Midtown NYC office 3 days a week. Any applicants residing outside the NYC metropolitan area must be willing and able to cover the costs to move to the NYC metropolitan area should they be offered and accept the position. #LI-WK1
