Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 219-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the pioneer valley for over 125 years.# We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient-centered care.# Our#laboratory team is looking for an ASCP or AMT certified or certification-eligible, Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician who believes in our Lab#s Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include specimen testing as well as specimen processing and clerical duties. This position will primarily be in Chemistry, with cross-training into a minimum of one other dept. as needed. Excellent benefits and competitive pay. REQUIREMENTS: MT/MLS # Bachelors degree with ASCP or AMT certification or have#certification eligibility. MLT - Associates degree from an accredited program as a Medical Laboratory Technician with ASCP or AMT certification or have#certification eligibility Applicants must have: A passion for caring for the community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab. A drive for learning new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement.
