Holyoke Medical Center is an independent community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the Pioneer Valley for over 125 years.# We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient centered care.# Our#Pre-Admission Testing#team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide appropriate care to patients under the clinical supervision of a physician.#NP will conduct pre-operative history and physicals, document results of the history and physical prior to scheduled surgery and communicate findings to physicians involved in the surgical case prior to commencement of any surgical procedure. The NP will also provide patient education to the pre-operative patient about their upcoming surgical procedure, anticipated outcome, and recovery process. REQUIREMENTS:#Graduate of a certified Nurse Practitioner Program.#Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Massachusetts.# Three years in a Professional Nurse Practitioner role with experience in Pre-Admission Testing#preferred.
