TO ASSIST THE HEALTH CARE TEAM BY PROVIDING SAFE AND EFFECTIVE TRANSPORTATION OF OUR PATIENTS TO AND FROM PATIENT CARE AREAS WITHIN THE MEDICAL CENTER, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE SUPERVISOR AND/OR REGISTERED NURSE.##ACCOUNTABILITIES ALSO INCLUDE ASSISTING WITH PATIENT RELATED ACTIVITIES; POSITIVE PATIENT RELATIONS, AND GOOD INTRADEPARTMENTAL COMMUNICATIONS.##WILL PARTICIPATE IN CODES (CPR). CLEAN STRETCHERS AND PATIENT ROOMS WHEN NEEDED. STOCK CARTS IN DEPARTMENT. CROSS TRAIN AS PATIENT OBSERVER AND MAINTAIN SAFE ENVIRONMENT WHILE ATTENDING PATIENTS. Education: High School Graduate or equivalent; however, one must be able to read and write English and must be able to follow verbal and written instructions Licenses/Registrations: BLS, CPI, DYSRHYTHMIA MONITOR TRAINED (Willing/Able to Learn) Experience: One year experience as an orderly or nursing assistant
