Position Overview
The Manufacturing Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all facility systems within a fast-paced, multi-phase supply chain logistics operation. This role oversees maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment for food and beverage, material handling equipment (MHE), conveyance systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and general facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Manager leads a team of technicians to maintain uninterrupted distribution center operations through preventive maintenance, rapid response to equipment failures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong knowledge of various types of food and beverage industry equipment, conveyance equipment along with strong experience in coaching, mentoring, training, safety compliance, for direct reports and cross-functional collaboration is highly valued.
Location: On-site, Kennesaw, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift with the ability to work outside of normal business hours for any emergencies including weekends based on business needs
Travel: Less than 10% domestic travel
Compensation: $92,000–$125,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and education. Includes comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all maintenance activities to ensure timely and effective repairs and improvements.
- Supervise and develop hourly maintenance associates.
- Prioritize, schedule, and monitor daily maintenance tasks.
- Ensure facility systems meet reliability standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Develop training programs for maintenance staff.
- Coordinate planned outages and facility projects.
- Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical and power systems for safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of service cycles and maintenance activities within CMMS systems.
- Manage inventory of spare/replacement parts and associated documentation.
- Perform various facility building maintenance repairs as needed.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP standards, and corporate safety policies.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Hands-on repair of various equipment within the facility.
- Participate in projects for installation and modification of new and existing equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience plus education.
- 5+ years' experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic packaging machinery within a co-packing, or warehouse facility.
- Leadership experience directly managing a team of direct reports.
- Experience in fast-paced, multi-phase production or distribution environments.
- Skilled in electrical testing and repairing various equipment including systems (vertical form and fill, case packing equipment, forklifts etc.) 24VDC to 480VAC 3-phase.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics and equipment drawings.
- Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment; able to operate forklifts, lifts, and other material handling devices.
- Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work safely, maintain cooperative relationships, and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, reaching) for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights of up to 50 feet on various types of equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
- Forklift certification.
- Knowledge of conveyance systems and vendor management.
- Familiarity with OSHA compliance and safety programs.
