Position Overview


The Operations Analyst supports the operations in accordance with Company and customer requirements. This position will be tasked with providing financial insight and guidance to enhance performance and process efficiency. You’ll be exposed to multiple operations of different sizes, capital investments, and commercial structures, and you’ll regularly partner with all of them to put them in the best position for success. You’ll learn about the overall business which will enhance your strategic orientation and better enable you to relate to short- and
long-term obstacles.


 


Responsibilities:
• Work independently to manage deadlines and prioritize your workload in a manner that enables you to achieve results
• Provide operational support and will manage the month-end close process and provide financial analysis that enables our sites to achieve peak performance
• Play an integral role in partnering with Business Development in the development of commercial pricing proposals
• Ensure that each site’s working capital position is in line with company goals
• Have regular interaction with business and financial leadership
• Regular interaction with customer to support their understanding of financial performance
• Develops strong working relationships with operations to foster trust and collaboration
• 30% travel to other locations
• Managing and measuring KPIs


• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.


 


Location: On-site, Kennesaw, GA
Schedule: 
1st Shift with the ability to work outside of normal business hours for any emergencies including weekends based on business needs
Travel: 
Less than 10% domestic travel
Compensation: 
$71,000–$96,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and education. Includes comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting, preferred
  • Microsoft Excel Expert
  • CPA, preferred
  • 3-5+ years of work experience within the finance or accounting industry, required
  • Logistics or Manufacturing industry experience, preferred
  • Public accounting experience, preferred
