Description
Quality Control will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities: * Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. * Accurately count, verify UPC, make product shipping labels, label, and prepare for shipping. * Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. * Maintains quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions and moving freight manually or with powered equipment. * Ensure goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times. * Research product overages, shortages, and discrepancies via physical inspection or system analysis. * Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards. * Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. * Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00 pm – 2:30 am Pay Rate: $18.00 plus $1.50 Shift Differential * High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education * One year forklift operating experience. * Experience in receiving, verifying quantities, signing freight bill in a warehouse environment.
