Description of the Position:
The shipping clerk position is a fast -paced environment. This position is essential to the operation’s success as it works closely with carriers, customer, and on-site management to manage shipping billing and invoicing. It requires organizational skills as well as the ability to multi- task in an efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Work with management to maintain outbound trailer pool.
- Schedule trailers in and out of loading doors.
- Schedule Outbound drop pickup.
- Communicate with dispatch(s) to ensure pickup.
- Record outbound load quality.
- Ensures all loader paperwork is filled out correctly and completely.
- Resolve any shipping nonconformities. Resolve any issues with shipping with internal staff.
- Files paperwork daily.
- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
- Follow all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr.
