Your impact:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Account Director, to drive revenue growth inside major European Government accounts and ongoing major program initiatives. You will have the ability and drive to identify and close business with new customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage important and well-established customers, close high value deals and work with an innovative and focused government solutions team.

 

What you will do:

  • Manage and grow critical strategic accounts.
  • Identify and successfully convert new accounts.
  • Exceed revenue targets and meet strategic account plan goals.
  • Identify and successfully close new business with existing and new customers. 
  • Establish a primary commercial contact position within existing major programme teams.
  • Work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Become an exemplar for Intelsat's core behavioral values.
  • Manage virtual, matrixed teams to deliver complex managed services to customers.
  • Assist management teams in creating strategic account and go to market plans.

 

Your required experience/skills:

  • Four-year university degree
  • At least 10 years of sales experience in telecommunications and satellite communications, managing strategic accounts. 
  • Demonstrated success in managing key strategic accounts, driving revenue growth and with a record of customer endorsement (NPS).
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, acquiring and growing new accounts.
  • Specific experience closing high value, complex deals working with a wide range of customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and win formal bids.
  • The ability to identify and articulate new product needs and influence internal product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain close relationships with customer C-level executives.
  • The ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the military market.
  • The ability to lead matrixed teams to deliver strategic account success.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the full sales lifecycle.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 40% of the time.

  • Effective English language skills both oral and written with the ability to create and deliver successful presentations.  Effectively communicate information to diverse audiences, including translating subject matter terminology into clear business outcomes.
  • Facilitate straightforward decisions from complex situations, solving problems to keep teams and prospects moving forward.
  • Quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, setting direction and approach, mobilizing, and motivating teams and executing with limited information and ambiguity
  • Analyze to translate sales targets and account plans into successful action plans.
  • Manage conflict resolution using strong negotiation ability, influence, and professionalism.

 

It would be nice if you had: 

  • The ability to obtain a UK Government security clearance. Active Security Check clearance.
  • Developed world market experience.
  • Fluency in language(s) other than English.
  • Additional years of experience.
  • Developed World Market Experience
