Job Title: Lead Construction Coordinator

Shift/Schedule: This is a Regular, Full time role working tat least 50 hours per week. Duration is 11 months.

Location: Mentone, TX

What you'll do:

  • Inspection Planning: You lead the implementation of inspection plans and schedules based on project requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Coordination: You manage the coordination with internal teams, third-party inspectors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate inspection activities.

  • Documentation: You maintain and lead the maintenance of comprehensive records of inspection reports, certificates, and non-conformance reports.

  • Compliance Monitoring: You ensure all inspections comply with industry standards, company policies, projects requirements and regulatory requirements.

  • Issue Resolution: You lead the identification, documentation, and facilitation of the resolution of non-conformances or quality issues.

  • Communication: You provide regular updates to the project management team, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders on inspection status and findings.

  • Vendor Liaison: You work with suppliers and contractors to ensure their inspection processes meet project standards.

  • Training: You conduct training sessions to the inspection teams on inspection protocols and quality standards' project specifics.

  • Mentoring: you mentor and monitor the inspection coordinators' team and support their activities as needed.

  • Quality Assurance: Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications.

Physical Requirements for this role:

  • Must be able to walk long distances
  • Must be able to climb, stoop,  kneel, crouch and crawl
  • Must be able to stand for extended durations
  • Must be able to reach in all directions
  • Must have good visual acuity with regards to color, depth perception and field vision
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperatures
  • Must be alert and able to determine job related hazards and recognize when hazards change
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Preferably holds current certification in Swagelok and Parker tubing fitting installation (Will accept expired certification depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in construction inspection, preferably with lead or supervisory experience

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical specifications

  • Ability to resolve conflicts, identify installation issues, and suggest corrective actions

  • Independent judgment to manage field compliance. 

  • Clear communication with project teams and contractors

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Able to work and communicate in a team environment

  • Must possess fundamental verbal and writing skills in English language
