What We're Looking For:
- Ed Tech I, II, III certification + below requirements
- Ed Tech I
- High school diploma or GED
- Ed Tech II
- 2 years of post-secondary education OR
- 60 credit hours of approved study in related areas
- AND 2 years of work experience in the field.
- On-going in-service training must be provided to Ed Tech IIs.Recommended areas of study are:
- roles and responsibilities of the Ed Tech
- students with special needs
- understanding the instructional process
- emergency, health and safety procedures
- confidentiality issues in schools.
- Ed Tech III
- 3 years of post-secondary education OR
- 90 credit hours of approved study in a related area
- AND 3 years of work experience in a related field
- Ed Tech I
