Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan LARA mental health professional license in one of the following:
- Limited License Masters Social Worker (LLMSW)
- Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
- Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Experience implementing research-based strategies for student mental health needs
- Experience providing direct therapy/counseling services to students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior support
- Collaborate with school staff within MTSS frameworks
- Conduct screenings, referrals, and case consultations
- Document services and track student progress
- Submit Medicaid billing through district systems
- Participate in team meetings and family engagement
- Coordinate care with internal and community partners
