ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as a role model for delivering compassionate service, displaying empathy and support where appropriate.

- Perform other job-related duties as required such as explanation budget, variance reports and recommends revisions of policy and procedure manual.
- Rotate weekends as needed and as determined by department management.
- Assures consistent coverage at all times, willingness to cover vacant shifts due to emergencies and as needed when possible.
- Reinforces expectations based on developed policies and procedures.
- Provides continuing education to department personnel to include orientation training for new hires.
- Assures compliance with radiation safety, title 17 rules and regulations compliance, quality control and Initiatives, and PI activities.
- Actively identifies cost savings or revenue enhancing initiatives for own area of responsibility.
- Acts as a resource to other members of the healthcare team.
- Assures compliance with department compliance with Hospital policies procedures and established CT scanning protocols.
- Assist the radiation safety office in maintaining compliance with all radiation safety rules and regulations, monitor radiation doses and compliance with SB1237.
- Assures adequate department supplies.
- Interprets/enforces policy, advises director of violations.
- Assist in developing monthly or biweekly schedules for CT staff.
- Demonstrates creativity in developing service-oriented processes and behaviors to improve the experience of both internal and external customers (AIDET).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Minimum (Required)
High School graduate. Accredited Radiology technologist school graduate.

Work Experience
Minimum (Required)
Three years' experience in an acute health care environment. Minimum 2 years prior experience in CT required.

- Current CRT, ARRT Certification
- Current Fluoroscopy
- Current ARRT CT
- Current BLS-C Card (AHA)

Pay Transparency
The hourly salary rate range for this position is $47.84 - $79.11. A clinically competent board-certified CT technologist performs under the direction of a Radiologist, CT scans imaging procedures ensuring maximum quality of film, patient safety, and accuracy of information for interpretation. Able to perform all aspects of various CT scan procedures. Provides care services to a critically ill through rehabilitating, newborn through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served. Functions as a leader of the interdisciplinary diagnostic radiology team. This position requires providing supervision/coordination of department operational activities.
