JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience:
5+ years Experience in hospital, insurance, or related healthcare finance.
Minimum Skills:
Knowledge of hospital decision support and EMR systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to translate clinical needs into financial terms and explain results to a non-financial audience.
Ability to anticipate and respond to rapid changes and industry shifts.
Strong commitment to high-quality deliverables, professional collaboration, and skill development.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance or related field is required or 10 years experience in financial role in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau highly desired.
Understanding of healthcare coding systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS, UB-04, HCPCS, MS DRG, CPT, etc.).
Ability to write SQL and other coding languages a plus.
Familiarity with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement.
Experience with Strata financial suite.
Pay Transparency
The hourly rate range for this position is $84,365.00 - $138,330.00. The Senior Decision Support Analyst bridges the gap between complex data and business strategy. The analyst will develop reporting tools, build predictive financial models, and lead cross-functional analysis to guide executive leadership.
