1st shift Manufacturing Superintendent
Location: Durant, Mississippi
Shift: Monday - Friday 6am to 2:30pm
Salary: $95,000 - 100,000+ salary based on experience

Kelly Services is seeking a Manufacturing Superintendent to lead operations in our Durant, MS facility. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a strong background in manufacturing, welding, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:- Champion safety across all departments and resolve safety issues promptly.
- Maintain and manage shop equipment and ensure availability.
- Supervise and direct employees including supervisors, welders, assemblers, and material handlers.
- Prioritize and manage projects to ensure timely completion.
- Promote cross-training and workforce development.
- Guide departmental objectives in quality, safety, and productivity.
- Participate in scheduling meetings to optimize workflow and downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on workflow and projects.
- Assist in recruitment and hiring of plant personnel.
- Support management philosophy and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate or technical degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years' experience managing supervisors and technicians in manufacturing.
- Welding certification highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Experience in coaching and developing supervisors.
- Familiarity with KPI tracking and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
