1st shift Manufacturing Superintendent
Location: Durant, Mississippi
Shift: Monday - Friday 6am to 2:30pm
Salary: $95,000 - 100,000+ salary based on experience

Kelly Services is seeking a Manufacturing Superintendent to lead operations in our Durant, MS facility. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a strong background in manufacturing, welding, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion safety across all departments and resolve safety issues promptly.
• Maintain and manage shop equipment and ensure availability.
• Supervise and direct employees including supervisors, welders, assemblers, and material handlers.
• Prioritize and manage projects to ensure timely completion.
• Promote cross-training and workforce development.
• Guide departmental objectives in quality, safety, and productivity.
• Participate in scheduling meetings to optimize workflow and downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on workflow and projects.
• Assist in recruitment and hiring of plant personnel.
• Support management philosophy and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate or technical degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience managing supervisors and technicians in manufacturing.
• Welding certification highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Experience in coaching and developing supervisors.
• Familiarity with KPI tracking and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
