Description

Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a full-time A&P Aircraft Lead Mechanic to support our growing operation. This role is critical to our mission, and we offer a competitive sign-on bonus based on experience.  

What You'll Do as an A&P Mechanic

In this role, you will perform inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft to ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Mechanical Duties

  • Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on multiple aircraft models
  • Diagnose malfunctions and complete disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems
  • Prepare aircraft systems for flight and delivery in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards
Engine and Airframe Maintenance
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair turbine engines, including engine run-ups
  • Perform airframe system and component changes
  • Conduct systems checkouts and functional testing
  • Install service bulletins, kits, and modifications on both airframes and engines
Use of Tools and Equipment
  • Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools
  • Repair or modify aircraft systems and assemblies with accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required
  • Experience with Cessna and/or Beechcraft aircraft preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance documentation
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
