? Location: 1226 CR 85, Stevenson, AL 35772
? Pay Rate: $24/hour
? Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Full-Time)
? Work Environment: Industrial manufacturing office supporting mill operations

? What's a typical day as an Administrative Assistant III? You will:

  • Perform daily A/R, A/P, and general ledger accounting activities.

  • Process vendor payments, purchase orders, vendor setup, and invoice entry using JDE/Concur.

  • Handle incoming phone calls and provide professional receptionist and front-office support.

  • Assist with wood procurement activities and serve as backup for other office functions.

  • Produce and distribute weekly shipment lists for inbound and outbound loads.

  • Perform accurate data entry across safety, environmental, operational, and financial systems.

  • Track vendor certificates of insurance, indemnity forms, and purchasing card transactions.

  • Support month-end close processes and reporting requirements.

  • Order and maintain office and operational supplies as needed.

  • Participate in health and safety programs, site audits, and engagement initiatives.

  • Complete documentation, maintain records, and support monthly supplier reporting.

  • Perform other administrative and office-support duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • A high school diploma or GED (required).

  • Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting.

  • Intermediate math skills (decimals, ratios, fractions).

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.

  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up abilities.

  • Ability to multitask, shift priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Reliable attendance and professionalism in an industrial office environment.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

  • Ability to perform essential physical functions (standing, mobility, hearing).
