Pay Rate: $32.19/hr
Schedule: Weekend Days | 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Employment Type: 12-month Contract with the possibility of permanent hire
Work Location: Onsite – Savannah, GA

What's a typical day as an Aircraft Technician II? You'll be:
  • Performing complex inspections, maintenance, and repairs with minimal supervision.

  • Communicating effectively to understand assignments and support team operations.

  • Ensuring FAA and company standards are met through proper documentation and quality checks.

  • Completing work orders, discrepancy reports, and required FAA forms accurately and timely.

  • Operating support equipment including power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs, and forklifts.

  • Coordinating and assisting with aircraft movement in hangars and on ramps.

  • Handling customer property responsibly and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians.

  • Using tracking systems for parts demand, squawk management, sign-offs, and labor tracking.

  • Participating in Lean and 6S initiatives for continuous improvement and workplace safety.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED (required).

  • Possess a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and at least 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/large-size aircraft.

  • Hold a valid driver's license.

  • Understand FAA regulations, quality manuals, and repair station policies.

  • Have strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and precision.

  • Are proficient with documentation systems and comfortable in a hands-on technical environment.
