Job Overview:
As part of our Talent Pipeline, the Analytical Chemist will play a vital role in driving forward innovative research by performing analytical testing, developing methodologies, and ensuring data accuracy through rigorous quality control. This position focuses on applying a variety of analytical techniques, collaborating with dynamic cross-functional teams, and maintaining meticulous documentation to achieve critical scientific objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analytical testing using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
  • Analyze chemical compounds in various matrices to support research and development projects.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare and process samples, including extraction, filtration, and dilution.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary R&D teams to integrate analytical data into broader research initiatives.
  • Interpret and report data, contributing to research reports, presentations, and publications.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of data.
  • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and NMR.
  • In-depth understanding of chemical analysis, method development, and validation processes.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex analytical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong team-oriented approach.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP, GLP) is a plus but not required.
