Plant  Laboratory Technician
DUPONT SCHEDULE - ROTATING SHIFTS

Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a an Analytical  Laboratory Technician for engagement at one of our Global clients sites  in Beaumont, TX.  This role is a full-time, fully benefited position. All KellyOCG employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from.   You'll also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time.  All KellyOCG employees receive annual performance reviews.

Job Title: Analytical Lab Technician

Immediate Supervisor: Operations Manager

Pay Rate Range: $21.00/hour (days), $22.00/hour (nights)

Bonus Participant: No

1. Purpose: The Analytical Lab Technician position at our customer site at thier  Beaumont facility is integral to the identification and execution of key job requirements within the analytical laboratory.

2. Scope: This comprehensive job description encompasses all full-time Analytical Chemist positions at the facility.

3. Responsibilities:

Operational and Process Focus:

  • Conducts testing on raw materials, in-process, finished product, packaging, and stability samples utilizing a range of instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FTIR, AA, and ICP, following approved SOPs and compendia standards.
  • Performs calibrations of laboratory instrumentation.
  • Alternatively, or in conjunction with the above, may participate in the maintenance and coordination of the commercial stability program. This involves study initiations, sample pulling, data summary sheet preparation, stability protocol drafting, update of stability SOPs, and oversight of stability chambers.

Compliance Focus:

  • Assists in training other analysts as requested by the Lab Facilitator.
  • Operates in strict accordance with all safety regulations.

4. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a Science field, preferably Chemistry, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a research-based laboratory environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Pharmaceutical Quality Control Laboratory experience.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, including MS Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

5. Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrates professionalism and ethical conduct in all activities and relationships.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and leads by example.
  • Exhibits initiative to undertake individual projects, overcome obstacles, and ensure their completion.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with personnel across different departments and at various levels of responsibility.
