Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Overtime: Mandatory overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays during peak season

Our client in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assembler to join their door shop production team. This role involves hands-on assembly and finishing of interior and exterior door systems in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This is a temp to hire opportunity with consistent hours and long-term potential.
What you will be doing

Use hand tools and power tools including tape measures, table saws, chop saws, band saws, skill saws, jig saws, nail guns, staple guns, and cordless drills

Assemble interior and exterior door pans, including blocking for hardware such as hinges, latches, and sweeps

Assemble door frames, including blocking for hardware locations

Install conduit and junction boxes for electrical components in doors and frames

Finish and complete door plugs by installing hinges, latches, windows, sweeps, magnetic gaskets, and kickplates

Finish and complete door frames by installing electrical components, jambs, trims, and labels

Pair and mount door plugs to door frames

Assemble and kit electrical components including heater wires, sweep assemblies, magnetic gaskets, conduit assemblies, and electrical boxes

Perform final quality checks and test all electrical components for functionality

Crate and package finished doors for shipment

Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions accurately

Mechanical or electrical assembly experience is a plus
